The location is amazing, just a short

Walk to the sea and the charming medieval sites. I particularly enjoyed the warm and inviting atmosphere created by the staff. Breakfast options were diverse, with local specialties. There's a need for better sound insulation, especially for rooms near the bars.

The location was good, right by a lovely plaza with a fountain, and the staff was friendly. Plus, the breakfast spread-especially the crispy waffles-was a standout addition.

Liked everything! Except maybe more tea options. 😉

We were just a short walk from the sea, perfect for a refreshing swim in the morning. The breakfast was a highlight, with homemade dishes and a great personal touch. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We did experience some noise in our room from the restaurant next door, as it played music until late in the evening, pretty disruptive for us.

The staff were attentive, especially Josef, who provided informative recommendations. The room was well-appointed with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. I particularly enjoyed the fine city view from my room, made for a good backdrop each morning.

Staying at Kalk Hotel seemed like a dream. The central location made it easy to explore Visby. Just a 2-minute walk brought me to the sea, where sunsets were amazing. The hotel has a fine interior, with tastefully designed balconies overlooking the water. I enjoyed relaxing on the balcony, surrounded by plants and plush furniture. Breakfast was fantastic! It featured homemade dishes and local ingredients. The flexible hours from 7 to 11 were a bonus, allowing me to eat at my leisure. Staff were genuinely warm, particularly a young man at the reception who provided great local tips. Noise from nearby bars was a bit too much at times, especially if your room is near them. While I found my room modern and stylish, the bathroom layout could be improved for better space management, particularly the shower area. It was a tiny bit cramped. Regardless of the noise and the bathroom issues, I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the excellent breakfast.

There were great relaxation spots, like the lovely courtyard for morning coffee and a charming terrace for sunset views. Just a heads up, some evening noise from nearby bars might disturb light sleepers, but it wasn't a big deal for us 😊

The hotel did not have a bar or restaurant on the premises, which made it inconvenient for me when I wanted to grab a bite in the evening. the staff seemed quite busy and unavailable at times, which made it hard to get the necessary attention when needed.
